Katherine D. Graham is my primary pen name and the legal DBA of the company I provide author services through (Fated Fable Wanderings, LLC).

I offer the services below for authors, editors, agents, and publishing houses at this time, and I abide by the Editorial Freelancer's Association's current recommended rates (which you can see on their page HERE).

1.) Editorial Services

I have had the great privilege of editing for other authors for over 10 years now in a variety of genres (from genre fiction to self-help and loads in between). While I am not taking line and copy edit requests as of the summer of 2026, I do still offer development and proofreading services as shown below.

As an Author's Guild associate member, I do not utilize ANY outside editorial tools (AI-powered or otherwise) for any of the critiques or editorial services I provide below. Your word is performed with my brain and my brain only. I am happy to sign NDAs upon request.

• Developmental Editing = 3 cents per word with a 3,000-word minimum
• Professional Beta Reading = 0.8 cents per word with a 10,000-word minimum 
• Proofreading = 1.2 cents per word with a 3,000-word minimum
• Writing Coach Calls = $100 per hour

2.) Querying/Pitch Coach Services

Excited about the publishing industry and having spent a great deal of time navigating the ins and outs of what agents and acquiring editors want (and don't want) to see when queries hit their desks, I began pitch coaching in the fall of 2019. Since I began coaching, I have helped over thirty authors reach their dream of acquiring an agent and then go on to signing publishing contracts with presses (some for multi-book deals).

In full transparency, I specialize in genre fiction and memoirs. If you're writing non-fiction, my querying services may not be the best fit for you.

3.) Self-Publishing Assistance & Author Business Consulting

I have been a full-time authorpreneur since 2021. The transition from corporate 9-5 to self-employed business owner didn't happen overnight, and I'm the first to admit that there were struggles along the way right there alongside the wins.

I only send marketing e-mails to those who expressly opt-in to my newsletter or who initiate a conversation with me requesting more information.

I DO NOT sell 'reader review' services or promotions (since that would be against many retailers' review policies). Anyone claiming to be me who tries to sell you public-facing 'reader reviews' for book retailers is not me.

I cannot do anything about scammers pretending to be me or my company, and I cannot compensate you if you lost income due to a scam. Please be very, very careful about who you provide financial information to.
